Churches across North America are partnering with World Vision to save lives from malaria in the name of Jesus. The Church united can break the cycle of disease and end malaria deaths for good.
Your church can join the fight against malaria by hosting a Malaria Sunday — a special service designed to take place during your regular weekend gathering.
At a cost of just $6 each, treated bed nets protect children and families, reduce the number of mosquitoes that plague communities, and help end deaths caused by this "pestilence that stalks in the darkness" (Psalm 91:6).
On Malaria Sunday, your congregation will gain awareness about the scourge of malaria and have the opportunity to help save lives by donating bed nets for vulnerable children and families. We'll equip you with everything you need to help your church unite in the battle against this deadly disease.
The war on malaria is one we can win. In fact, the end is in sight. If the Church rallies to this cause, we can provide enough bed nets to cover all of Africa — and fulfill the vision to end malaria deaths by 2015.
Your church is a vital ally in this battle. Think of how many lives could be saved if every family in your congregation gave just $24 to protect a family living in a malaria-endemic area. Then, multiply that number by the thousands of churches in North America alone. Together, as God's army, we can accomplish this mission and save lives in Jesus' name.
